NMSSA runs a tight ship when it comes to the state budget. We are a non-profit organization that doesn’t make money off of our tournaments and relies only on it’s annual memberships. A big portion of your $20 fee is paid to USASA and US Soccer and the rest goes to NMSSA. What does this mean? Our bank account is small.

Several reasons, but here’s a quick list:

  • Increase adult referee pay for all of our tournaments and provide opportunities for assessments for them to upgrade their license.
  • Provide help and resources to all our leagues, which includes travel to Las Cruces, Santa fe, and Gallup.
  • Host more tournaments, especially in cities outside of Albuquerque for all of our members. – Add more amenities and better prizes to our tournaments.
  • Send our league operators and board members to National meetings to build connections, gain support, access resources, and learn how to run better leagues and tournaments.
  • Youth outreach to help bridge the gap between youth and adult soccer. Attend local events and support the youth soccer community.
  • Create and develop new leagues for its members.
  • Affiliate new leagues.
  • Offer our leagues the option to use our state-wide registration system called Sport Lomo.
  • Volunteer to help at any of our local tournaments.
  • Donate to our Venmo account @NMSSA.
  • Have a fundraising idea and want to see it happen? Help us coordinate an event. – Become a sponsor and have your business advertised at our events or buy the naming rights? – NMSSA is open to the possibilities! Contact us today!
  • Reach out to nmssapresident@gmail.com to inquire about any of these opportunities.
