The purpose of NMSSA is to support, coordinate, and administer the sport of adult soccer and shall develop policies and best practices to promote and foster the development of players, team representatives, coaches, teams, leagues, and tournaments within the adult soccer community. As part of those duties, NMSSA is responsible for providing players state and national competitions, as well as, player development for higher level competitions. NMSSA will promote physical fitness and the development of players of all ages and support the training and licensing of referees.
NMSSA shall comply and carry out the requirements of affiliation with USASA, USSF, and FIFA rules, regulations, statues, decisions, directives, and policies.
