WHAT WE ARE NOT:
NMSSA does not tell...
NMSSA does not tell each league how to operate or run their respective leagues. However, leagues are expected to comply with the basic requirements of affiliation.
A paid or for-profit organization
A paid or for-profit organization. NMSSA is a 501c4 non-profit organization and all of its board members are volunteers. NMSSA is a tax exempt non-profit, but donations are not tax deductible.
An insurance plan
An insurance plan. NMSSA offers a reimbursement coverage as a benefit, but is not simply an insurance coverage.
